remarkable combination of hardwood faced plywood and our
special overlay system has the legendary strength of marine
plywood and the versatility of a polyester surface all in one
economical, ready-to-use panel.
Marine DecraGuardT is one of the most attractive yet
durable materials available to marine builders. Its beautiful
pre-finished woodgrains look like hand rubbed wood-even placed
side by side. A choice of solid colors is also available to
complement virtually any decor scheme.
Developed specifically for structural and decorative marine
uses, Marine DecraGuardT can be used for bulkheads, chart
tables, consoles, berths, cabinetry and furniture.
It is ideal for virtually any vertical and light-duty
horizontal surface, except working galley countertops.
Marine DecraGuard's laminated surface is permanently fused
to hardwood faced plywood and bonded with waterproof glue,
making it one of the toughest ready-to-use panels on the
market. The polyester overlay stands up to gasoline, cigarette
burns and most common staining agents.
An exceptionally low maintenance product, Marine
DecraGuardT wipes clean easily with a damp cloth, and mild
detergents remove soiled areas. An occasional light
application of oil will help maintain the beauty of the wood
grain patterns.
Because Marine DecraGuardT is a prefinished, ready-to-use
panel, secondary in-plant operations like sanding, painting,
staining, and buffing are no longer necessary. So labor costs
are cut and plant productivity increases.
