Olympic Panel Signal®, TwoStep® and Guardian® MDO panels are now available prefinished. Prefinished Sign Panels are being offered to the sign industry as a panel that is ready to apply painted or vinyl lettering and designs without first preparing a sign blank. The savings of time and material will enable the sign painter to furnish a finished product to his customer more quickly and less costly. By having the panel prefinished before reaching the sign painter, environmental concerns are eliminated.

Product Description
Exterior coating process for Olympic Panel MDO sign panels. This process consists of a flat line application of one (1) prime and two (2) topcoat applications with approximately 1-1/2 to 2.0 dry mils.
Panels available as Prefinished one-side with a backer sheet or Prefinished twosides.
Sizes Available: 4x8 and 4xl0
Thicknesses Available: 5/16', 3/8', 1/2', 5/8', 3/4', Other sizes and thicknesses available upon special quotation.
All edges are primed and topcoated.
The coatings used are environmentally friendly.
Finish: The standard color is Lily/Guardsman's white acrylic #540-1069. The prime coat is an alkyd base.
The coating is designed to accept most ink, vinyl, and sign paint with no surface preparation required.

Note:
Due to the vast number of printing inks, vinyls and lettering paint available in the marketplace, we suggest an adhesion test be performed to assure the expected results are achieved in the finished sign.

Important:
Any recut edges must be resealed properly by the end user to avoid moisture penetration into the substrate. Use a high quality exterior grade alkyd primer and exterior alkyd enamel topcoat in a straight white color to match the panel.
