ultiPour Plus is a specially engineered panel designed specifically for architectural concrete and for projects where high reuse is desired. Olympic Panel MultiPour Plus sets a new standard in predictability of concrete finish, cost-per-pour, and number of reuses in a concrete form panel.

Olympic Panel has combined our years of concrete forming experience into the very latest in overlaid forming panels: MultiPour Plus - a specially engineered panel and overlay system designed to deliver architectural finishes with a lower cost-per-pour than any other premium forming panel available today.

MultiPour Plus is designed as a high reuse panel. In engineered systems, a high number of multiple reuses are possible.

MultiPour Plus is far more reusable than standard overlaid panels. Cost savings can be realized after only ten pours in job-built forms.

MultiPour Plus is manufactured in a Two-Step process using extremely high quality cores. The panel is available with one or two working faces depending on your project requirements.

Transfer of underlying wood grain is minimal, and because MultiPour Plus promotes uniform hydration and is highly resistant to concrete alkalinity, surface blotching is greatly reduced.

Surface retardation and dusting associated with wood sugars are eliminated. MultiPour Plus also controls water migration, promoting uniform surface smoothness and hardness.

MultiPour Plus resists abrasion better than other standard forming panels.

Stripping is simple. MultiPour Plus releases cleanly and easily, with minimal clean-up required for the next pour. No heavy scraping or chipping of residual concrete is needed, so there's less chance of damaging the panel face. MultiPour Plus' thickness tolerance of +/- 1/64" means less joint offset, so panel shimming and concrete surface grinding at joints is greatly reduced.

CARE AND HANDLING

1. Apply Release Agent
Olympic Panel MultiPour Plus panels are not factory release coated. Lightly coat panels prior to first pour and before each subsequent pour with a chemically reactive release agent that will not bond with, stain, or adversely affect concrete surfaces. This makes stripping and cleaning easier and provides more uniform concrete surfaces an all pours. Follow the manufacturer's recommendations for application. Release agents have a significant influence upon the finished concrete surface.

Castor oil or forming release agents containing castor oil are not recommended.

2. Pouring and Vibrating
MultiPour Plus panels are highly resistant to abrasion and impact. However, as with any surface, they can be damaged through improper use. Rate of pour should be limited to that assumed in the design of the form. The use of rubber-tipped vibrators is recommended, and care should be exercised not to damage form faces during vibration.

3. Stripping
Most form panel damage occurs during stripping. Use wood wedges, rather than metal bars or pries, to separate the form from the concrete. Form panels should be lowered, not thrown or dropped.

4. Cleaning and Storage
Clean panels after each use, using burlap or flat, non-scratching tools such as plastic or wood scrapers. While MultiPour Plus panels are factory edge-sealed, it is important that any cut edges or exposed wood be resealed with two coats of a high quality polyurethane varnish. To minimize surface degradation and warping, store panels flat in a protected area and avoid direct sunlight.

5. Surface Repairs
Clean any concrete and release agent from damaged area and, using a putty knife, apply a solid coat of polyester-resin based auto body putty.
